Shepherds use our Shepper Tool app to take photos of people's assets and report on their condition. The app is very simple to use.
Here, you can find a video guide explaining how to use the app. Below, you will find a written explanation.
First of all, you will need to download the Shepper Tool app. This is available on the app store here. (Unfortunately, our Shepper Tool app is not yet available on Android, but should be up and running in a few weeks!)
Next you will need to log in. Open the app and tap Shepherd Login. Enter the access code sh16 and hit OK.
Take your first photo. Add a comment and use the icons to mark the condition of the object.
Tick - Everything is okay
? - Something might be wrong but I'm unsure
! - Something is wrong and requires attention
Once this is done, you have a few options.
- You can send the report by tapping the Send button
- You can add a new photo by tapping the Add Photo button
- You can delete the photo by tapping the Delete button
- If you have taken multiple photos, you can move between them by tapping the left or right arrow buttons.
Once you have taken all of the pictures required, you can send the report. Hit 'Send' and enter your Job ID (which we will have provided to you via email).
Wait for the wheel to stop spinning and you should receive a message saying 'Report sent successfully'. IMPORTANT: Don't close the app while the report is sending! You may lose your report and have to start again.
